Eco Cabin (Digital detox - no TV)
We have opted to go green with these two chalets and it is off the grid, featuring gas stove, gas heater, gas geyser and no tv. Fridge, electric blankets and lights running on solar battery. Keep an eye on the battery.
We regret that no hairdryer, toaster, iron etc can be used with the solar if the battery is to last through the night.
PLEASE NOTE: should the battery run flat you will have no power till it has recharged to 5% and IT WILL HAVE TO BE SWITCHED BACK ON.
This is a wooden cabin with a steep stairway to access the chalet . The style of the cabin is open plan, with only the bathroom enclosed.
There are two single beds on the loft (reached by ladder) and a double bed on the main level. (Loft not suitable for small children or elderly people). Max 2 adults.
There is also a outside braai area with table and chairs. The wrap around deck provides incredible views of the farm, landscape and mountains.

Bookings can be done directly from the website or by phone or whatsapp on 0605333992. Quotations are only reserved for 24 hours and is only considered accepted once a 75 % deposit is paid and proof of payment sent to mounteverestHS@gmail.com or at 0605333992. Balance is payable 2 days prior to the reserved booking date unless arranged to be paid via card or cash on arrival.
