 We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the wildlife, and the hiking trails on the farm. The owner was friendly, helpful, and always available via WhatsApp whenever we had a question. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having the fire lit or the fireplace prepared before check-in, which made the accommodation feel warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The Zebra premium rondawel was comfortable and provided everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

Good Morning Maci Just wanted to thank you for a wonderful stay over the last weekend in the very spacious Renoster cottage-everything was perfect, and you stay in a very beautiful part of our country. Added to that we couldn't get enough of the wildebees, the springbok, reindeer and horses on your property. Loved your bull terrier too-we wanted to take Rip home with us😆

What a gem of a place! We celebrated my dad's 70th birthday here and had family and friends stay in different cottages, houses, and camping - all of the accommodation was fantastic and Maci and Happy were so pleasant and helpful to deal with. Thank you!

• Everest Log cabin

The views were absolutely breathtaking, with wide open landscapes that made it easy to relax and unwind. One of the highlights was the stunning hiking trail—well-marked, peaceful, and full of beautiful scenery at every turn. One small downside was the lack of shaded parking for the vehicle at the unit we occupied. However, the roads throughout the property were in very good condition, making it easy to get around. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy some quiet time away from the city. Highly recommended! The accommodation was very comfortable, with great quality linen and more than enough provided for our stay. Everything was well kitted for both warm and cold weather, which made it easy to settle in no matter the conditions. The property also offers great activities like fishing and bird watching, and it’s a fantastic spot for stargazing if you bring your own equipment—the night skies are incredibly clear and beautiful. There’s also a great variety of game to see, which really adds to the overall experience, and it’s an amazing opportunity for photography enthusiasts to capture some truly special moments.

The ideal place for a break away from the chaos of city life. Quiet, peaceful and our cabin was thoughtfully located at the foot of a beautiful peak, close to our Creator in God's country.

Our recent stay at Arendskop was nothing short of spectacular. Unbelievable views. 

The scenery. The game and birdlife, hikes, drives and peace and quiet was breathtaking. You can see forever. Every season of weather makes the place so special. we experienced thunderstorms rolling in. Rainbow. A full moon rising. Mist. Wind. Hot and clear. Just beautiful. And the dogs loved it so much. Peaceful and private. Very friendly and helpful host and staff. The booking and check in and check out process and information is seamless. Accommodation is fantastic.. Well equipped. Can't wait to come back.Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place.

Throughout each year I stay over in at least 15 accommodations, and Mt Everest is simply the best! From booking to check-out, everything exceeds expectation. Communication is clear and timeous. The chalet is well-equipped and ideally located for rock climbing, hiking, birding and relaxation. Peaceful, private and purpose-made for the nature-lover. I've visited multiple times, and each occasion, I leave knowing I will return. High recommended!

Ek het nie woorde om die skoonheid, vrede en rustigheid te beskryf nie! Elke keer as ons Mount Everest besoek is dit soos 'n droom tuiskoms. Baie dankie Maci vir die GROOT bederf van die opgradering na Arendskop Chalet vir my man se verjaardag. Wat 'n belewenis! Ek dink elke mens moet die voorreg kry om ten minste 1 maal per jaar na julle plaas te gaan om hulle gemoed te voed en net die vrede in te drink.

Ons het die voorreg gehad om te sien hoe 1 van die donker Damherte geboorte gee teen die rant en die wildebeeste het sommer reg onder en voor die Chalet gehardloop en pronk. Die gedeelte van die Vrystaat se vlaktes is sprokies mooi as die son en die wolke patroontjies maak oor die grasvelde. Weereens baie dankie dat julle ons die voorreg gun om daar te kan oorbly.
