ons was aangenaam verras oor die oulike plekkie. Ons het oornag oppad Pretoria toe, maar wil graag weer teruggaan om langer te bly. Die huisies is baie gemaklik en die natuur is asemrowend. Ons is baie bly dat ons die plekkie ontdek het. Die wild het langs ons huisie geslaap en die perd wat rondloop was so sag met my special needs dogter. Dit is asof hy geweet het sy is anders. Die lapa waar ons gebraai het, was lieflik. Niemand sal 'n fout maak om hier te stop nie.

• Duplex chalet: Lechwe

Absoluut! Heerlik gebly. Dit was nie die 1ste keer wat ons Mount Everest besoek het nie, maar wel die 1ste keer wat ons in 'n chalet gebly het. Die vorige kere was in die karavaanpark saam met ons hele gesin. Die keer was baie spesiaal om in een van die hout chalets te kon tuisgaan. Weereens 'n wonderlike belewenis. Die berg, die natuurskoon, die vrede wat mens daar beleef, is iets om te beleef en kan nie in woorde omgesit word nie. Dankie almal by Mount Everest!

The sunrise and sunsets here will take your breath away! Sitting outside enjoying coffee, watching the animals and seeing the Beautiful landscape puts your mind at ease!! The staff is wonderful and the cabin we stayed in was so cozy. If you’re looking for a peaceful place, Mt. Everest is PERFECT!!

Hierdie was seker die mees "memorable" wegbreke wat ek en en my vrou nog ooit gehad het. Die natuurskoon, die uitsigte, die stilte, alles was onverbeterlik. Ons het by Mount Everest Guest Farm behoorlik kans gekry om af te skakel en net te kon rus en die tydjie daar geniet. Die gasvrou Maci en haar span het hulle goed van hulle taak gekwyt. Hier het ons die meeste tuis gevoel ooit, en dit wat alles beskikbaar was in die eenheid was die beste wat ons nog ooit by enige vakansie bestemming gehad het. Ons het alles gekry wat ons ooit sou wou gehad het, plus die bonus van vier seisoene in een dag se tyd :-). Wat 'n onvergetlike ervaring! Ons beplan reeds om dalk ons 38e huweliks herdenking in Junie weer daarheen te gaan.

Absolutely beautiful views. Mount Everest Chalet lovely, secluded for peace and quiet. Well fitted out well with every convenience. Booking, arrival and departure was very easy. Will definitely be back for another relaxing weekend of down time, climbing, walking and even cycling.

Cosy eco log cabin with stunning views of the distant and nearby mountains. Cabin has large windows, so even from inside the view is awesome. Very comfortable beds, with crisp white linen. Well appointed braai area. The game farm lends itself to hiking and mountain climbing, and on game drives a lot of animals are seen. Sometimes these roam around the cabin. The staff is very helpful.

• Tarentaal Eco Cabin

Mount Everest has provided me and my family with the opportunity to rest for REAL! From the breathtaking scenery to the amazing service, we had the opportunity to get away from the city and just relax. The cabins were very neat and when we needed any assistance (even at 21:00 at night) they are always ready to help. There is also no lack of activities if you are into nature adventures from fishing, hiking, cycling etc and if Clarens is only a breathtaking 1h30 away!

I am definitely coming back and would suggest Mount Everest Farm to anyone looking to get away and really wind down.

We had an excellent stay at Mount Everest, The Units were cozy and well equipped. The Game farm is a nature lovers paradise with bird life and lots of game on the farm. The Mountains look stunning, and you can enjoy lovely scenic walks. The host Maci is friendly and extremely helpful.

Incredible stay camping here. Great facilities for shower and cooking, we car camped but the lodges looked luxurious and some were tucked away and very private. Really nice staff and magical so have zebra and wildebeest and ostrich’s walking around camp as you braai! We loved the climbing, plenty of higher grade routes but we stuck to SA grade 14-16, luxury to walk back to camp within 15minutes and the staff have a great guidebook. Thank you for your welcome, we hope to come back soon!

From the moment we arrived, your hospitality and warmth made us feel right at home. Your place is a real gem - so clean, well cared for and surrounded by breathtaking nature. It is a place where one can really relax and forget the hustle and bustle of life.

The animals on the farm made our experience even more special! We enjoyed being among the animals so much, and of course the horses were literally and figuratively a "highlight" of our visit. 😉

You have created a place that is so much more than just a guest farm. It is filled with love, tranquility and a unique atmosphere that we will remember forever. We will definitely visit again and bring more friends to share this piece of paradise.

Mt Everest Guest Farm is on my TOP 5 places to visit. One of my most memorable vacations ever for a number of reasons. Firstly, its not that far from Jo'burg. Secondly, easy to find - signage is great so you dont waste time & money driving around looking for the place. Thirdly, the staff & service you receive is top class! Fourth, that picture you have in your mind of what you expect (as far as accommodation goes) is above & beyond your imagination! Sixth, THE VIEW from our chalet totally sublime! and lastly but not least, driving around the Reserve was transcendentally impressive. In my humble opinion, one of the most underrated Reserves in SA. A TRUE GEM!!! Thank you Mt Everest for one of the best times of my life!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome and Beautiful. My wife and I fell in love with this place from the moment we set foot on the premises. Ideal break away weekend. Peacefully and quiet. Absolutely breathtaking scenery. 5 stars for Maci. Friendly and helpful.
