Activities

Although we do not offer any guided tours or activities, Mount Everest allows a lot for the outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers to keep busy.

And for the rest we have smart tv's, free WI-FI in all chalets, a pool table, dartboard and a bar.

  • Rock Climbing - a popular climbing spot among rock climbers, we now offer discounts for CitiRock/MCSA members on all the units but not on camping. Proof of membership required.

  • Fishing - We have various dams with fish for recreational fishing. Only bass fishing, catch and release, no 3 barbed hooks allowed.

  • Hiking - we recently finished our first marked hiking route graded 7/10 it takes 2.5 to 4 hours to complete. Not recommended for children under 10 or unfit individuals. Some climbing required.

  • Biking - bring your mountain bike and explore the farm or rent 1 from us @ R100 per day.

  • Photography - spectacular views and free roaming game make for amazing wildlife photography.

  • Bird watching - 120 species of birds inhabit Mount Everest. 

  • Hunting - STRICLY PROHIBITED at this time.

Rock Climbing

Just for having a bit of fun as a group of friends or family, rock climbing is a great way of spending time together, encouraging each other and having a few good laughs. The climbing is enjoyed by kids as well as adults.

No instructors. 

Hiking

We have a 7/10 graded hiking trail, lot of roads throughout the farm or feel free to go off the beaten path. In summer look out for snakes and never go anywhere outside of your physical abilities and experience.

Fishing

There are only bass in the dams.

Catch and release only. No 3 barbed hooks allowed.

Mountain biking

Bring your own bike and explore the farm and surrounds or rent one from us @ R100/ bike per day. We have 2 bicycles available. No kids bikes.
