Although we do not offer any guided tours or activities, Mount Everest allows a lot for the outdoor enthusiasts to keep busy.

And for the rest we have smart tv's and free WIFI. A pool table (R5 coin operated) and darts in the communal lounge next to Lechwe will also keep the kids entertained.

  • Rock Climbing - a popular climbing spot among rock climbers, we now offer discounts for CitiRock/MCSA members on all the units excluding Meerkat. Kindly contact us for more information.

  • Fishing - We have multiple dams stocked with trout. Trout permits are charged at R200 pp. Strictly no fishing without a permit. For recreational fishing please ask Kobus where you are allowed to fish for free.

  • Hiking - although there are no set out hiking trails, the farm is open to explore.

  • Biking - bring your mountain bike and explore the farm.

  • Photography - spectacular views and free roaming game make for amazing wildlife photography.

  • Bird watching - 120 species of birds inhabit Mount Everest. Discounted rates if you are a member of a bird watching club or Birdlife SA.

  • Hunting - STRICLY PROHIBITED at this time.
